| Other Comments: | A success story: A young woman who has used Heroin for over 6 years, helped clean up in the Hostel, then went out and spent the credit earned on getting a proper session with a hairstylist- the first in a long while-and was able to then get £5 off her rent. This is a new, probably slightly different time bank but what it has in common with other TBs is that is makes a real & sustainable difference to individuals lives. As the scheme develops it may help show a generally hostile local population that homeless people are just like them- useful & talented!! |
