Installation on site.

Efinity Enterprise Anti-virus (Email, Server & Workstation).
Efinity Anti-Virus is sold on a subscription basis. Licences include automatic updates, free upgrades and full technical support.
This licence allows the use of Efinity Anti-virus on all email, file servers, networked PCs, stand-alones and portables at any site up to the licensed amount. Add the number of servers (Efinity plus others) to the number of workstations/Email mail boxes (including networked PCs, stand-alones and portables) to get the total number of users e.g. 1 Efinity, 9 other servers and 90 workstations/Email mail boxes would require a 100-user Enterprise Licence. A file server platform is Efinity, Windows NT, NetWare, OS/2 or Unix. Server coverage is limited to 10% of the total licence size (i.e. 10 servers for every 100 users). Please call SMT for prices on OpenVMS and AIX server platforms.
Anti-virus is charged by the number of user accounts, annually, on a per user basis.

Internet Access.
In order to ensure the system is installed as quickly and simply as possible, we recommend that Lawyers Online provides the Internet access, however we are usually able to work with most service providers who allow network access via proxy servers within their acceptable use policy.

Internet Access is via ISDN, if this is not at present on site Lawyers Online can arrange for BT or Cable & Wireless to install a standard ISDN2 or Business Highway. ADSL solutions are also available and integrate well with the Effinity Server Solution.
