Time for Action is growing all the time and is playing an increasingly important part in the regeneration process of the area. People on local committees and steering groups are encouraged to join the time bank and bank their time so that they can get something back for their input into the regeneration process. |

| Case Study |

Time for Action has found that events are a really good way of bringing participants together, stimulating exchanges and raising the profile of the time bank. Amongst other things the "Community Jam" was a great success - an open mic night that allowed people to show off their musical talent. We also held a "swap shop" day so that people could swap their goods instead of services for a change. We extended this project by setting up a page on our website called Time 2 Swap It, to allow people to continue swapping things. We are also starting a monthly Community Lunch with time bank members cooking the food and people being allowed to "buy" their food with credits. |
