Spending Time Changing Lives

Using time banks to involve people as equal participants in
regeneration, health, learning, and in building community

Time Banks UK Annual Conference 2002

National Piping Centre, McPhater Street, Glasgow
THURSDAY 7TH AND FRIDAY 8TH NOVEMBER 2002

This year's Time Banks UK Conference will draw together an exciting mix of national and international speakers. It will be a celebration of time banking in the UK so far, and a look forward to what we can achieve in the future.

Workshops will include practical issues around setting up and running time banks, specific topics such as health, older people, young people and the arts, developing time bank networks and rural time banks. There will also be fringe events for individual time banks to share what they have been doing, and a special dinner and Ceilidh so the conference goes with a swing.

There will be lots of time for networking, meeting old friends and making new ones. And we will hear more from Edgar and Chris Cahn about the international time banking picture.
